Specialist Support Coordination

Specialist Support Coordination is paid at a higher level than Support Coordination; this is because the people who do this job are expected to be able to support those people who have more complex needs, or where there may be high risk levels. People who do Specialist Support Coordination have an Allied Health Degree; and are specialists who work with you to meet your needs and work towards reducing any highly complex barriers that are impacting on your ability to use your NDIS plan. Our role is to work with you on the hard things; the things that make life tough or confusing.

We will help you through:

  • Talking to any professionals who work with you; like Doctors, Psychologists or Speech Therapists.
  • We take their information and put it all together to explain what is going on for you and the help you need.
  • We help you figure out how you want to use your NDIS funding.
  • We can help with exploring housing options.
  • We look at anything related to your disability that might be stopping you living the life you want.
